From the moment the story opened, I was rooting for Kate! She was just vulnerable enough to suck me in and then she took care of her business enough to get me cheering for her. You didn't want to see bad things happen to Kate because she had already been served a triple helping from the universe. Seeing her let down a little bit and open up and the hailstorm that followed was heart-breaking. Seeing her rise from the ashes to overcome huge setbacks with the help of Evan was awesome! Pick it up for a go--I don't think you'll be disappointed!

A crime story that becomes a romance with a running thread of justice... When this story started rolling, I was not prepared for what was about to happen! Several of our primary characters appeared to truly hate each other and everybody knew it! As we move along, it appears that an arranged marriage is going to get in the way of the love story; however, by the halfway point, I was more than pleasantly surprised. Once again, communication becomes a big issue between the genders and led to more than one miscommunication and misstep. In the end, we see some true happiness on Frankie's part, and we also have been shown a model of a really strong woman. Check out her growth throughout the story!

Solid comedic romance that makes you go along for the ride! Seeing the close friendship that our two main characters have leaves you wondering what will happen, if anything, between them. You soon discover throughout the plot, that one character has always given more than the other and is much more aware of the hoped-for changes in the relationship--you have to hope that both characters will soon be on the same page even though some of the highly-amusing things that happen only exist because of their lack of communication! I want to know more about their story about halfway through the book! Seeing the dynamics of their families reminds me of why this dynamic is such a huge part of who we become and who we trust as adults--it takes a little while for Ames to realize what was most important to her. Her realization started pushing other family members in the same direction.
